West Carson Villas

A third new project with PATH Ventures is under way! West Carson Villas will be an 111 unit development offering affordable and permanent supportive housing to be completed in Spring 2021. Our collaboration will furnish 63 units reserved for PSH residents and the public areas of the building. KFA Los Angeles is the architect for the project and they’ve planned a wonderful program for the public spaces – a yoga/recreation studio and computer lab wrap around an open air light well as the center of activity, there’s a massive community room with a teaching/demonstration kitchen and lounge spaces, counseling rooms, ample office and storage rooms to accommodate resident services, and outdoor community gatherings spaces at two levels of the building. The project will seek LEED Gold certification.  

The project is in schematic design and many conversations are underway on creating a modern and serene environment, where scale is attained while respecting environmental, personal and community well being.  

Two initial concept boards here; full design will take place Spring 2020.
