Spring 2017 High Point Market

Highpoint Market is widely considered to be THE market source for the industry – 11.5 million square feet of showspace across 180 buildings, it is for the most part the entire town. I absolutely fell in love with the Historic Market Square building, which among other fabulous showrooms is home to the Antique & Design Center.

As a first time market attendee I diligently read thru the website, mapped out the showrooms I wanted to see, downloaded the HP MKT app and set off to find great new resources to share with clients.

Highlights from the show:

  1. 2017 Style Spotters: Anishka Clarke and Niya Bascom of Ishka Designs  panel discussion and tour.
  2. Designer’s Series: Julia Buckingham on her distinct style and book, Modernique.
  3. Designer’s Series: Candice Olson for York Wallcoverings.

Please read on for looks from my favorite showrooms and if you see something you like, send a note via email or use the “Let’s Connect” page. . .enjoy!

The historic Market Square building is an old furniture factory compound. A five-story brick beauty complete with water towers, covered walk bridges between buildings and gorgeous original hardwood floors through most of the building.
