I took a consultation with a client who is pondering renovation of her childhood home. It’s a classic mid century modern home with exquisite wall paper….from the 1970s. I laughingly told her the paper would sell for $100 or more a roll in today’s market.
It’s true though, wallpaper is making a comeback. And yes, some of the best looking prints out today do look like your parents or grandparents papering so don’t judge just take it in.
Just imagine the prints above as: (1) a bold pattern for a home office, (2) an accent wall in a bohemian retreat paired with a fabulous shag area rug, (3) an elegant boudoir, (4) a rustic dinning room outfitted with a live edge wood farmhouse table, modern white dinner plates, flax linens and gold flatware, or (5).....a chic powder room of course.
